MANILA, Philippines — Radio personality Carl Balita on Thursday filed his certificate of candidacy (COC) for senator.
Balita, who espouses entrepreneurship in his radio program, lodged his COC at the Harbor Garden Tent of Sofitel Hotel in Pasay City.
Balita will run under Aksyon Demokratiko as he joined the political party on Sept. 27.
Aside from being a radio host, Balita is also known for establishing the Carl Balita Review Center which has 120 branches nationwide.
He is also a registered midwife and a registered nurse.
