Herbert Bautista gets ‘sure’ slot under Lacson-Sotto Senate slate

MANILA, Philippines — Former Quezon City mayor Herbert Bautista will run for senator in the 2022 elections under the Lacson-Sotto ticket.
Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III himself confirmed Bautista’s inclusion in their senatorial slate.
Sotto is running for vice president with close friend, Senator Panfilo Lacson, as president.
“Yes sure sya,” Sotto said in a text message when asked about Bautista’s inclusion in their senatorial ticket.
At present, the pair has listed 14 candidates in their senatorial lineup.
“We have to finalize after all have filed,” Sotto told reporters in a Viber message.
