“Everyday, I am monitoring itong (the) security and situation in the area. And I’m so glad to know na (that) for the past four days, including ngayon (today), [it is] generally peaceful,” Eleazar said during their inspection at the Sofitel Harbor Garden Tent in Pasay City, the venue of COC filing for national positions.
“Not only here in this Harbor Tent area but including other places outside of this area and for that matter, the whole of the Philippines,” he added.
Citing the Southern Police District, Eleazar said that a total of 581 police personnel are deployed in the vicinity of the Sofitel Harbor Garden Tent, the venue of the certificate of candidacy (COC) filing.
“Sa ngayon (Currently), I was briefed by the Southern Police District director that around 581 police personnel are deployed sa mga kapaligiran (in the area),” the chief shared, noting that this is their deployment everyday.
Eleazar further said that the police are also prepared in case there would be crowding of people in the remaining days of the COC filing.
