MANILA, Philippines — House Deputy Speaker Camille Villar formalized Tuesday her reelection bid as representative of the lone district of Las Piñas City.

Villar personally filed her certificate of candidacy (COC) as she vies for her second term as representative of the city.

In filing her COC, Villar said she will “continue to bring basic services closer to her constituents and help in the city’s full recovery from the pandemic.”

Villar is the daughter of Senator Cynthia Villar and former senator Manny Villar.

She was first elected as representative of Las Piñas City in 2019 where she beat Jerry Delos Reyes after receiving 89.78 percent of the votes.
