Angeles City’s active COVID-19 cases down by over 45% percent
ANGELES CITY – The number of active COVID-19 cases here decreased by 45.8 percent to 778 active cases as of October 2, compared to the 1,436 active cases on September 25, according to data from the city government.
The city registered 38 new COVID-19 cases, 125 recoveries and zero deaths on Saturday.
It has logged a total of 11,967 cases since the pandemic began last year. Of these, 10,709 have recovered while 480 have died.
Barangay Sto. Domingo has the most active cases with 62, followed by Cutcut with 60, and Pampang with 42.
The city government has fully vaccinated 154,834 residents against COVID-19 while 163,339 others have received their initial dose.

On Friday, Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr. lifted the liquor ban after four months but maintained the 12 midnight to 4 a.m. curfew.
