CEBU CITY — Cebu Gov. Gwendolyn Garcia has canceled the swab test requirements for all persons entering the province starting Friday, October 1.

In a memorandum, Garcia said travelers only need to present a medical certificate showing they do not exhibit symptoms of COVID-19 at the point of origin.

Cebu and its component cities are currently under general community quarantine as COVID-19 cases continue to decline in the province.
