MANILA, Philippines — Manila Mayor Isko Moreno is ready to officially launch his bid for the presidency in 2022 as photos show him completing his certificate of candidacy (COC) on Thursday.

The campaign team for Moreno sent images showing the local executive filling out COC requirements.

Moreno’s camp said the mayor would file the document with the Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Monday next week, October 4.
Moreno is running under the Aksyon Demokratiko party, with online personality and physician Doc Willie Ong as his running-mate.
