PH to have generally fair weather despite Typhoon Mindulle’s presence

MANILA, Philippines — The entire country will have generally fair weather despite the possibility that Typhoon Mindulle may enter the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) by Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that Mindulle’s trough reaches Southern Luzon and Visayas.

(Currently, the trough or outer circulation of the typhoon is affecting Southern Luzon and Visayas. Expect generally fair weather over the entire country tonight but chances of isolated rains and thunderstorms may occur.)

Mindulle may also immediately leave PAR by Wednesday, Figuracion mentioned.

Despite no gale warning raised, Pagasa cautioned fisherfolk, especially those with small vessels, in northern and eastern Luzon.

(We have no gale warning in any part of the archipelago. Although, for our fisherfolk in the east of Luzon and Northern Luzon, waters will be moderate to rough.)

Coastal waters in the rest of the country will be slight to moderate, Pagasa said.
