COVID-19 recovery rate in Zambales remains at 87%

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales––At least 96 patients in this province recovered Monday from COVID-19, data from the provincial health office showed.

The figure pushed to 7, 275 the number of recoveries out of the 8,379 COVID-19 cases reported in this province since the pandemic struck last year. It reflects an 87-percent recovery rate.

The province also recorded on the same day 65 new infections and brought the active cases to 1,047 from 1,098 the previous day.

At least 20 new fatalities were also added to the province’s death toll, which now stood at 357.
