DOH: 2 COVID-19 hospitals in Zambales at critical level
SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — Two of the five hospitals in this province were placed under critical status after reaching their maximum bed capacity for COVID-19 patients, data from the Department of Health (DOH) data showed Monday, Sept. 27.
All intensive care unit (ICU) beds of the President Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Hospital (PRMMH), and Allied Care Experts (ACE) Medical Center – Baypointe, Inc. were also fully occupied. PRMMH is the province’s main COVID-19 facility.
The same DOH data showed that only 31 isolation beds and 74 ward beds remained vacant in the province’s five hospitals.
Aside from PRMMH and Baypointe hospital, the other COVID-19 facilities in the province are the Candelaria District Hospital, San Marcelino District Hospital and Sta. Cecilia Medical Center. INQ
