Sick baby boy needs heart operation
MANILA, Philippines—Three-month-old Jacob Avery Dancel has been diagnosed to be suffering from congenital heart disease.
Despite his ailment, “Coby”—as his parents, Joseph and Kathleen, call him—continues to bring joy to his family, always smiling and playing with them.
“These simple actions make everyday living easier for us, knowing that our little angel has a very serious condition,” Joseph and Kathleen said.
According to them, the only way their little angel can survive is by having open heart surgery. This will not only take several hours, Coby will also need to stay in the hospital for nine days. The procedure, however, will cost P500,000, something they cannot afford.
