COVID-19 killed 401 people in Bohol – BIATF data

TAGBILARAN CITY — The number of deaths caused by COVID-19 in Bohol province has breached the 400-mark on Monday.

Data from the Bohol Inter-Agency Task Force (BIATF) showed that as of 1 p. m., 401 individuals died of the new coronavirus disease caused by SARS-CoV-2.

Bohol currently has 2,165 active cases of COVID-19.

Since the start of the pandemic, 16,814 persons in the province have tested positive for the virus.

The BIATF said COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) beds in Bohol’s tertiary hospitals, as well as the isolation beds have been fully occupied.

Health authorities urged residents to follow the minimum health protocols and to get vaccinated to combat a sustained increase in coronavirus infections and hospitalizations.
