A TANOD in barangay Tejero, Cebu City was accused of shooting a 24-year-old relative.
Police said personal grudges are being looked into as possible motive when Nestor Ybañez shot Gilbert Rosos past 2 a.m. yesterday.
Police said the shooting happened while Rosos was driving a bicycle on his way home to sitio Laurente.
While driving, the battery of Rosos’ cell phone fell to the ground.
He was about to pick the battery when Ybañez arrived on a motorcycle.
Ybañez disembarked from the motorcycle and without a word shot Rosos in the back.
A wounded Rosos ran and jumped to a river that was about five meters from the road.
Ybañez tried to chase Rosos but pulled back when he saw the arriving relatives of Rosos.
