CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela—At least 23 sub-villages in this city were placed on a granular lockdown for six days starting Thursday, Sept. 16, to contain the spread of COVID-19, officials said.

According to Mayor Josemarie Diaz, the affected areas are in the villages of Alibagu, Bliss, Calamagui 2nd , Baligatan, Baculod, Guinatan, Alinguigan 3rd, San Vicente and Cabannugan 2nd.

“We encourage people to think of their fellows and stay home. If they do not value themselves, they should value their fellows,” Diaz said in a statement.
