Rider dead in motorcycle-bus collision in Batangas
LUCENA CITY — A motorcycle rider died after his vehicle collided with a bus in Rosario town in Batangas province on Monday night, police report said Tuesday.
Rosario police reported that John Manuel, 21, was driving his motorcycle, when he collided with a Daewoo Bus driven by Ramil Maglasang, coming from the opposite direction in a section of the highway in Barangay (village).San Ignacio around 9:30 p.m.
Manuel died on the spot from fatal injuries. The report did not state whether or not the fatality was wearing a crash helmet.

Police said the motorcycle occupied the opposite lane that led to the the collision.
Maglasang remained under police custody as investigation continues.
