MANILA, Philippines — Generally pleasant weather is expected across the country Tuesday, although isolated rain showers are possible during the afternoon and evening, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

“Inaasahan na patuloy nang gaganda ang panahon sa dulong Hilagang Luzon,” said Pagasa senior weather specialist Chris Perez in his latest weather report on Monday.

(The weather is expected to continue to improve in the far Northern Luzon.)

“Generally maaraw na po at medyo maalinsangan sa buong Luzon maliban na lang sa mga ilang pulo-pulong dagliang pagulan na minsan may kasamang mga pagkidlat at pagkulog lalo na sa dakong hapon at gabi,” he added.

(Generally, it will be sunny and a bit hot all over Luzon except for a few rain showers that may include lightning and thunder, especially during the afternoon and evening.)

Meanwhile, hot and humid weather is also expected in the entire Visayas and Mindanao, but isolated rain showers will remain likely to occur during the afternoon and evening.
