Water delivery boy electrocuted after holding pole with live power in Ormoc City
ORMOC CITY — A water delivery boy died after holding a pole with live electric power while crossing a flooded area in Barangay Tambulilid in this city at about 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 7.
Donde Dejaño, 27, was reportedly helping other people in crossing the flooded area using a wooden boat.
However, when a big truck suddenly crossed the flooded area, the victim suddenly fell. To avoid being carried away, he held onto a metal lamp that had a live wire.
A rescue group came and brought him to the hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.
