Police arrested a man who was allegedly involved in selling illegal drugs in barangay Pulangbato, Cebu City.
Police said Elmer Legaspi, 36, was arrested after selling a pack of suspected shabu to a poseur buyer for P300.
Legaspi denied that a buy-bust occurred.
He said he was just picked up by police while he was on his way to San Fernando town where he works as a caretaker of land.
Legaspi admitted being a drug user but not a drug pusher.
He disowned the three packs of white crystalline substance that police said they recovered after frisking him.
Senior Insp. Eunil Avergonzado, chief of the City Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operation Task Force, said a police asset met Legaspi yesterday for a drug transaction.
Avergonzado said Legaspi even divulged the name of his financier.
