Air travel alert: Canceled flights on Wednesday, Sept. 8

Canceled flights

MANILA, Philippines – A number of domestic and international flights were canceled on Wednesday due to inclement weather spawned by Tropical Storm Jolina, according to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) management.

In an advisory posted in social media, NAIA said the following flights are cancelled due to bad weather:

The eye of Jolina was estimated to be over the coastal waters of San Juan, Batangas, according to the state weather bureau.

It added that Jolina packs maximum sustained winds of 95 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gustiness of up to 115 kph.

Jolina is expected to exit the Philippine area of responsibility on Friday morning.
