Severe Tropical Storm Jolina weakens further; Signal No.1, 2 up in parts of Luzon
MANILA, Philippines — Severe Tropical Storm Jolina has weakened further as it crosses the Sibuyan Sea on Tuesday afternoon, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
According to Pagasa, the eye of “Jolina” was last spotted 60 kilometers (km) West Northwest of Masbate City, Masbate or 90 km East of Romblon, Romblon
The tropical storm continues to move west-northwestward at 15 kilometers per hour (kph), with maximum sustained winds of 100 kph near the center, gustiness of up to 125 kph.
Strong winds or higher extend outwards up to 180 km from the center
Heavy to intense with at times torrential rains should be expected in the next 24 hours over Masbate, Sorsogon, Albay, Catanduanes, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Southern Quezon, Romblon, Marinduque, Oriental Mindoro, and Occidental Mindoro.

The following areas are currently under TCWS No. 2, this means gale-force to storm-force winds are likely to occur, bringing generally light to moderate damage to structures and vegetation:
