Motorcycle rider dies in Lipa City road mishap
LUCENA CITY––A motorcycle rider died in a road accident before midnight Monday in Lipa City in Batangas province.
Lipa police said in a report Tuesday that the still-unidentified male motorcyclist was negotiating a curved section of the road when he lost control of the vehicle in Barangay Calamias around 11 p.m.
The victim was thrown off from the motorcycle, landed on the pavement, and died on the spot from severe injuries. The report did not state if the victim had a crash helmet.

The police are further investigating the incident to identify the victim.
A report described the vehicle as a RUSI Motorcycle with plate number 747 DKH.
