Drug suspect caught with P102K ‘shabu’ in Bulacan

CITY OF SAN JOSE DEL MONTE, Bulacan––A high-value target drug suspect was arrested here Thursday, Sept. 2, after yielding P102,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth), authorities said.

At least 15 grams of shabu were seized from Cecinio Galit, 34, alias “Junjun Galit,” during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Citrus, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and local police said.

Also recovered from the suspect were ammunition, a .38-caliber revolver, a weighing scale, and the marked money.

Galit will be charged for selling and possessing dangerous drugs. INQ
