Most wanted fugitive in Central Luzon falls
SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — Police on Tuesday (Aug. 31) arrested a man in Castillejos town who is listed as the most wanted person in Central Luzon.
The suspect, Mark Rae Lapid, is facing drug charges and was arrested in Barangay San Agustin based on a warrant issued by Judge Raymond Viray of Olongapo City Regional Trial Court Branch 75.

According to Col. Romano Cardiño, Lapid, a resident of Barangay Cawag in Subic town, the suspect has been in hiding since October last year.
The court has not recommended bail for Lapid who was placed in police custody.
Lapid was among the fugitives that local police have arrested in recent weeks.
