3 million more doses of Sinovac delivered to PH
MANILA, Philippines — Three million more doses of the Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine procured by the national government arrived in the Philippines on Tuesday.
The shipment aboard a Philippine Airlines flight arrived around 6 p.m. at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 2.
The jabs were welcomed by the vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr.
With the arrival of the Sinovac jabs, the Philippines has already received some 51.5 million COVID-19 vaccine doses since February.
More than 13.7 million persons have already been fully vaccinated in the country.
