MANILA, Philippines — Cloudy skies with rain, lightning, and thunder are expected over the majority of Luzon, including Metro Manila on Wednesday due to the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

Meanwhile, the weather in Palawan and the Visayas and Mindanao will be hotter and more humid, particularly during the noon and early afternoon. Isolated thunderstorms, however, are still possible in the late afternoon and evening.

Figuracion said the next tropical cyclone names will be Jolina, Kiko, and Lannie.
