BAGUIO CITY — A man who was fleeing from lawmen after shooting three people died when he figured in a road accident in the city, police said Monday.
Investigators said Rubillo Distor, 47, a jeepney driver and a resident of Barangay MRR-Queen of Peace here, came from a birthday party when he shot and wounded three people after a heated argument.
Distor was killed in an accident along the Naguilian road and died on the spot while being chased by responding authorities, police said. It was not immediately known what caused the road mishap.
The wounded victims were taken to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center for treatment. INQ
