MANILA, Philippines — A total of 362,700 doses of US-made Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine arrived in the Philippines on Wednesday night.
The plane carrying the government-procured doses arrived at the Ninoy Aquino Internation Airport (Naia) Terminal 3 at around 8:30 p.m.
Before this, the plane unloaded 50,310 doses in Cebu.
It will then go to Davao on Thursday to deliver 50,310 doses.
So far, the Philippines has received over 48.5 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines, either donated or procured by the government and the private sector.
So far, over 13 million Filipinos are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, while 17.4 million have at least received their first dose.
All in all, the Philippines has already administered 30.6 million doses.
