Latest arrival: Over 1.2 million Sinovac, Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine doses
MANILA, Philippines — Over 1.2 million doses of Sinopharm and Sinovac’s COVID-19 vaccine arrived in the country on Saturday.
The National Taskforce Against COVID-19 said a total of one million procured doses of Sinovac and 260,800 donated Sinopharm doses arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
The Sinopharm shipment ispart of the 1 million doses donated by the Chinese government.
An initial 739,200 Sinopharm vaccine doses arrived in the country on Friday.
Article continues after this advertisementAs of Wednesday, over 12.8 million individuals in the country have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
