MANILA, Philippines — Fair weather is expected in most parts of the country on Saturday due to the easterlies or warm winds from the Pacific Ocean, the state weather service said.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), in its early morning update, said Metro Manila and with the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Isang, which was last spotted some 725 kilometers east of Basco, Batanes with maximum sustained winds of 65 kilometers per hour (kph) and gustiness of up to 80 kph, is unlikely to cause any weather disturbance in the country, according to Pagasa.
(Isang has no direct effect on the country, it’s the easterlies which may bring rains and isolated thunderstorms.)
(Fair weather conditions will prevail in Metro Manila and most parts of Luzon. In the Visayas and Mindanao, we will also expect fair weather conditions.)
