Mandaluyong City opens COVID-19 vaccination to non-residents

MANILA, Philippines — Mandaluyong City on Friday announced that non-residents can now register for the COVID-19 vaccination drive.

The Mandaluyong Public Information Office said non-residents who want to be vaccinated could now register to the vaccination portal Mandavax.

“Hintayin po ang tawag o text mula sa Mandavax call center kung saan, kailan, at anong oras kayo pupunta,” the Mandaluyong PIO said in a Facebook post.

“Huwag kalimutang magdala ng government o valid IDs.”

(Wait for the call and text from the Mandavax call center to know where, when, and what time you should come to the vaccination site. Don’t forget to bring government issued or valid IDs.)

The city government said the reservation is strictly by appointment and no walk-ins will not be allowed.

Interested parties may book an appointment via www.mandaluyong.gov.ph/vaccine/.

Earlier this month, Mandaluyong City attained population protection after vaccinating more than 320,000 individuals, which is 70 percent of the city’s population.
