BACOLOD CITY––Authorities have lifted the lockdown on the houses of a 3-year-old boy and 63-year-old woman infected with the COVID-19 Delta variant.

Dr. Chris Sorongon, Bacolod Emergency Operations Center deputy for medical data and analysis, said the two patients and their family members were negative for COVID-19 on re-testing.

“They are already marked recovered and are ready to be reintegrated in the community,” he said.

Sorongon said they were also waiting for the test results of 77 specimens sent to the Philippine Genome Center for COVID-19 variants testing.
