Motorcycle rider dies after colliding with truck in Kalinga town
BAGUIO CITY—A motorcycle rider died after colliding with an Elf truck along the national highway in Rizal town, Kalinga province on Tuesday (Aug. 17), police said.
Investigators identified the victim as Roy Sandoval, a resident of Barangay Liwan West, also in Rizal.
Police said the motorcycle occupied the other lane and was hit by the approaching truck driven by Angel Agpawa along the Cagayan-Kalinga Road at 12:15 p.m.
The victim died on the spot, according to the investigators.
