Teacher slain in Laguna

LAGUNA—A public school teacher was found dead in a vacant lot in Victoria town on Friday.

Antonina Labing, 37, has several stab wounds in her body when village officials found her remains in Barangay Nanhaya at around 6:40 a.m., said town police chief Senior Insp. Alex Marasigan.

Marasigan said  Labing was last seen by her family before she left her home in Barangay San Roque at around 5 a.m.  for work at the Dila Elementary School in Sta. Rosa City.

Police said the victim’s bag was missing when the body was found.  Maricar Cinco, Inquirer S. Luzon
