Bacolod fire razes 10 houses
BACOLOD CITY––A fire destroyed 10 houses and damaged two others in Barangay Alijis in this city on Sunday morning.
Chief Inspector Rodel Legaspi, city fire marshal, said the fire started at 11:47 a.m. and put out at 12:28 p.m.
The fire, he said, started from the second floor of the house of Marilyn Encarquez.

“Firefighters had a hard time putting out the blaze because of the narrow passageway in the area,” Legaspi said.

The houses built close to each other were made of concrete and light materials.
Village officials delivered food packs to the 30 individuals affected by the fire.
