2 Bacolod residents get life terms for keeping, selling shabu
BACOLOD CITY––Two residents of this city were sentenced to life imprisonment after being caught keeping and selling shabu (methamphetamine) last year.
Executive Judge Raymond Joseph Javier of the Regional Trial Court Branch 52 in Bacolod on Friday found Giovanni Hino-o Baylosis and Gabriel Lorenzo Libo-on violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Baylosis was charged for selling .043 gram of shabu to a poseur buyer in exchange for P200 in Barangay 30 on March 10, 2020.
Recovered from Baylosis was .264 gram of shabu and an improvised glass tooter with traces of shabu.
Baylosis denied the accusations.
The judge, however, found overwhelming evidence to convict the accused.

The judge ordered the turnover of the seized shabu to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency for destruction and the transfer of Baylosis and Libo-on to the National Bilibid Prison in Muntinlupa City.
