MANILA, Philippines — Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso is experiencing mild symptoms of COVID-19, according to Sta. Ana Hospital Director Dr. Grace Padilla on Monday.
“He has mild colds coughs and body malaise as presenting symptoms. He has no fever. His RT-PCR test result turned out positive. Lab tests were taken, and the initial findings of his chest CT Scan result is normal. Our clinical impression: He has a mild COVID disease,” Padilla said in a statement.
“Presently, he is maintained on oral anti-biotics and vitamins as supplements. He is stable comfortable and sleeping well,” Padilla added.
Domagoso was admitted at Sta. Ana Hospital Sunday.
Meanwhile, Vice Mayor Honey Lacuna is still recovering after being admitted last week, Padilla shared.
On August 8, Lacuna announced that she tested positive for COVID-19.
Moreover, Padilla said that the public will be updated on the status of the two city officials.
“The medical specialists and nursing team will be in close supervision. This is our bulletin update for now and we will keep you posted,” she said.
Both Domagoso and Lacuna have received CVID-19 vacicne shots.
