360 more Central Luzon cops vaccinated vs COVID-19

ANGELES CITY––Some 360 more police officers in Central Luzon have been vaccinated against COVID-19, the regional police office disclosed Friday, Aug. 13.

The number of police officers with first and full doses of the vaccines rose to 12,273 on Friday from 11,913 on Thursday.

Those fully vaccinated were 6,280 police officers, including the 1,803 who received the single-dose Janssen vaccine.

The other 10,470 police officers have received their first doses of Sinovac, AstraZeneca, Moderna, Pfizer, and Sputnik V vaccines.

Only 2,927 or 19.2 percent of the 15,200 uniformed police officers in the region remained unvaccinated against COVID-19 as of Aug. 13. INQ
