Tarlac reverts to stricter quarantine against COVID-19
MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga––Tarlac province will have a stricter quarantine status beginning Thursday, Aug. 12.
The Tarlac government announced Wednesday that from the most relaxed modified general community quarantine (MGCQ), the province would be under general community quarantine (GCQ).
The provincial government cited the increasing COVID-19 cases in the country.
Travelers from enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) and MGCQ areas would be required to present their current negative result of the reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction or nasal antigen test at the border checkpoints.
The test should have been conducted within 72 hours before entering the province, the Tarlac officials said.
