Travelers from enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) and MGCQ areas would be required to present their current negative result of the reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction or nasal antigen test at the border checkpoints.

The test should have been conducted within 72 hours before entering the province, the Tarlac officials said.

Vaccinated individuals could present their full vaccination cards in place of negative swab test results.

The local task force has also invalidated the previous border control rule that required both vaccinated and non-vaccinated residents of other provinces to present a travel authority from the Philippine National Police.
