BAGAC, Bataan – A farmer who was clearing his lot to plant sweet potatoes on Monday (Aug. 9) found 56 units of projectiles of vintage bombs, authorities said.
In a belated report, Police Capt. Michelle Agnetha Gaviola, Bagac police chief, said the projectiles measuring 76 millimeters were unearthed in Barangay Parang.
Agnetha said the projectiles were taken to the police’s explosives safe-keeping unit for further assessment.
Bagac is one of Bataan towns known for having explosive remnants of World War II. INQ
