65 percent of Central Luzon cops now vaccinated against COVID-19
MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga – Some 9,729 of the 14,955 police officers in Central Luzon, which comprise 65 percent of the region’s police force, have received their first and full doses of vaccines against COVID-19.
The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) Health Service disclosed this on Tuesday, Aug. 10, saying 5,250 of them have been fully inoculated while 8,072 have received their first doses of Sinovac AstraZeneca, Moderna, Pfizer, or Sputnik V vaccines.
Those who have been fully vaccinated include 1,657 police officers who received the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
Some 4,874 fully vaccinated police officers belong to the PRO3, while 377 are from regional support units.
The PRO3 Health Service said 1,361 police officers got their first doses or full doses of vaccines from the PRO3 Medical and Dental Unit while 8,368 were vaccinated by the local government units where the police officers are assigned. INQ
