Yamagata pugs headline Binakbakay sa Barangay
FIGHT fans in Lapu-Lapu City will be treated to an entertaining night of boxing this Sunday as Adonis “TI Yamagata” Aguelo of TI Gym in Mandaue City defends his Philippine Boxing Federation (PBF) featherweight title against veteran Renan Branzuela of Bukidnon at the Barangay Basak Gym.
This event billed as “Binakbakay sa Barangay” is being presented by TI Yamagata Promotions of Akira Sato who had a courtesy call last Wednesday with Barangay Captain Isabelito Darnayla of Brgy. Basak Lapu-Lapu City.
Roemart “TI Yamagata” Sentillas will trade punches with Romnick Magos for 10 rounds and Yamagata, Japan-native Mashasi Tada will face Junior Salvador in a 6-rounder in the preliminaries.
Gerpaul “TI Yamagata” Valero and Rajah Renoel Pael of Matalom, Leyte will face Erwin Pulvera for 8 rounds and Lyndel Radoc for 6 rounds, respectively.
Completing the pro card will be Ardie “TI Yamagata” Boyose vs. Jovan Munoz for 4 rounds.
Former national team member and amateur standout Brix Flores will be calling the shots for TI Yamagata boxers.
