Duterte mocks mayor who allegedly has ‘bikini’ photos online
MANILA, Philippines — Bikinis do not a president make, or so appeared in President Rodrigo Duterte’s book as he slammed a mayor in his weekly taped public address while referencing the local executive’s past through “bikini” images allegedly circulating on social media.
“Yan ang gusto ninyo? Ang training parang call boy. Naghuhubad, nagpipicture nakabikini tapos ‘yung garter tinatanggal niya?” said Duterte in his Talk to the People.
(Is that what you all want? His training is like being a call boy. Undressing, taking pictures while wearing a bikini and then removing the garter?)
Duterte did not name the mayor he was alluding to, but claimed that he saw the photos of him wearing a bikini on Facebook.
“‘Yan ang training ng presidente, maghubad at magpapicture, at magsilip, magyabang sa kanilang ari,” he added.

“May isa akong siyudad diyan na hindi ko bibigyan ng power to distribute ayuda, syempre because in so many instances, they cannot organize,” Duterte said.
(I have a city there that I will not give the power to distribute aid, of course because they’ve proven in so many instances that they cannot organize.)
“It has happened several times and several times he has blamed other people other than himself,” he added.
