19-year-old traveler gets caught for presenting fake swab test result
BACOLOD CITY – A 19-year-old Negrense wanting to return to Negros Occidental was caught presenting a fake negative swab test result and certification.
Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz said the fake certification was allegedly issued by the Philippine Red Cross Molecular Laboratory in Mandaluyong City.
The 19-year-old allegedly paid P2,000 for the fake certification.
Executive Assistant to the governor Charina Magallanes Tan said the fake reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test certification presented a different font from that used by the Philippine Red Cross.
Diaz said he will discuss with Gov. Eugenio Lacson what action they will take against the 19-year-old.
