Meralco promises no disconnections until end of lockdown
MANILA, Philippines — Meralco has promised no disconnections during the entire enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) period in the National Capital Region (NCR) and modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) in Laguna.
Meter reading and bill delivery, however, will still continue, said Meralco in an advisory.
Meralco also said that its business centers will remain open during the two-week lockdown, but with reduced staffing in compliance with the guidelines set by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF).
Business centers in Metro Manila will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m, while Laguna will only allow payments from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 n.n.
Metro Point mall in Pasay, however, will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on weekdays and only from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. during weekends.
