LAOAG CITY—Returning overseas Filipinos (ROFs), who are about to complete their mandatory quarantine and return to Ilocos Norte this week, would be allowed to enter the province, Gov. Matthew Marcos Manotoc said on Thursday, Aug. 5.

In a press briefing, Manotoc said these ROFs, including those seeking to enter the province for emergency or humanitarian reasons, are exempted from the rule that bars residents from returning home from Aug. 3 to 15.

The province imposed travel curbs while under the modified enhanced community quarantine, the second most restrictive containment classification.
