Ilocos Norte logs 235 new COVID-19 cases

LAOAG CITY—At least 235 new cases were added Wednesday to Ilocos Norte’s COVID-19 tally, bringing the total active cases to 3,777, according to data from the provincial government.

The province also reported 113 new recoveries and two deaths related to COVID-19.

Data showed that the active COVID-19 cases remained highest in Laoag City with 1,086, while 14 areas in Ilocos Norte have at least 60.

To date, Ilocos Norte has logged 9,182 COVID-19 cases since the pandemic began last year, including 5,273 recoveries and 132 deaths.
