Part of Edsa, Congressional Ave. to undergo repair, reblocking from July 30 to Aug 2 

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is set to reblock and repair portions of Edsa and Congressional Avenue over the weekend.

MANILA, Philippines –  The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is set to reblock and repair portions of Edsa and Congressional Avenue over the weekend.

In a traffic advisory, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said the repairs will start on Friday, July 30 at 11 p.m. until Monday, August 2.

The reblocking will cover the areas along EDSA Caloocan (Southbound) before Mariano St. (1st lane from sidewalk) and Congressional Avenue near corner Ayshire St., Bahay Toro (1st lane).

Motorists are advised to avoid the affected roads and use alternate routes instead to avoid encountering heavy traffic.

The MMDA said these roads that will be under construction will be fully passable by 5 a.m. on Monday, August 2.
