MANILA, Philippines — Israel has sent another team of experts this time to help the Philippines improve its treatment protocols for the more contagious Delta variant.
Health Undersecretary Myrna Cabotaje on Tuesday said the four-member team would spend most of their time this week with the government’s pandemic response cluster.
Cabotaje said Israel sent samples of vaccine packaging that were “smaller” than what was currently being used in the Philippines to help ease Pfizer deliveries to the provinces.
“We will see if [this packaging] can be replicated and used [here],” Cabotaje said in a Viber message.
