CITY OF CALAPAN — A master baker was arrested by police in a buy-bust operation on Tuesday afternoon in Naujan town in Oriental Mindoro province, according to a report from the police provincial office.
Police arrested John Rommel Vivas, 26, after selling two sachets of shabu (crystal meth) for P1,000 to a poseur buyer in Barangay Motoderazo at 3:20 p.m.
Vivas is a resident of Barangay Sapul in this city.
Also confiscated from the suspect were six pieces of suspected shabu weighing 0.45 grams and worth P3,000.
The suspect is under police custody and is facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
