MANILA, Philippines — With Typhoon Fabian already out of the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR), only the southwest monsoon or habagat is affecting several areas of Luzon, which will continue to experience rainy weather, while the rest of the country will have relatively fair weather, the state weather service said on Tuesday.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Ilocos Region, Zambales, and Bataan will have monsoon rains, while Metro Manila, Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Abra, Benguet, and Occidental Mindoro will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.

(In Visayas, expect hot and humid weather but there is still a possibility of isolated thunderstorms. In Mindanao, hot and humid weather is also expected.)

Meanwhile, Pagasa raised gale warning in the northern and western seaboards of Luzon with moderate to strong waves at 1.2 to 4.0 meters, while the rest of the country will have slight to moderate sea condition.
